California Tree Fruit Agreement Hires New VP of Marketing
Canadian Joins the Growing Team in the Central Valley
Reedley, Calif. (February 1, 2007) - The California Tree Fruit Agreement (CTFA), the state marketing order that represents more than 1,100 California peach, plum and nectarine growers, today announced the addition of Colleen DuHart to the CTFA team. DuHart, a native of Toronto, Canada, has been named vice president of marketing and will join the team on February 1.
"Colleen has a diverse background in integrated marketing and brings new experience to the CTFA team," said Sheri Mierau, CTFA president. "We look forward to the continued success of current CTFA marketing programs, as well as additional insights and innovations under Colleen's leadership."
As vice president of marketing, DuHart will work in close partnership with Mierau and will lead the marketing team in the development and execution of innovative marketing programs for CTFA.
Prior to joining CTFA, DuHart held senior marketing positions at technology corporations, Pitney Bowes and SMW Advertising (Publicis) in Toronto, Canada. She also has over a decade of experience implementing international creative strategic and tactical communications within ad agencies and major corporations.
The California Tree Fruit Agreement, headquartered in Reedley, Calif., administers marketing order programs on behalf of California's 1,100 fresh peach, plum and nectarine growers. The CTFA also includes the PPN Network, a strategic marketing resource for the peach, plum and nectarine industry.
